I dreamed that life was joy. I woke to find that life is service. I discovered that service is joy.

"Now it must be obvious that you are all at various stages of advancement, although many of you have achieved a similar degree of progress. It is what you have perceived as necessary to your growth that has brought you to your present point in time. There are many paths that are followed, and if they are of truth and based on the understanding of Universal Love, you have already gone a long way to achieving your goal. It is one thing to understand the lesson that you need to accomplish, but vastly different to applying it to your every action and thought. It is the intention and will to succeed that will carry you forward, and your Guides will be there to help you.

If you can live a life that is based upon Universal Love everything else will fall into place. Every day of your life you will be tested by events that cross your path, not that it is intentional but in duality you are mixing with those who encourage you to be like them. It is what is generally accepted as normal behavior, and regretfully in recent years it has plummeted to new a low. For example, violence and aggressive behavior seem to be accepted as a normal reaction, and particularly if one’s pride is hurt. The ego rules the head rather than the heart, and spirituality is far from people’s minds.

Anyone that is trying to raise themselves up has to contend with challenges many times each day. Sometimes it is the suddenness with which you are confronted by a situation that catches you unawares. We know how difficult it can be, and you should not be too hard on yourself if you get caught out. You will undoubtedly be fighting habits that have been with you a long time, and you cannot just change overnight. Control of your emotions is a key to success, and much easier if you have overcome your ego.

Humans have a tendency to react to the questioning of their opinions, by allowing an argument to develop. This can sometimes lead to heated exchanges or worse. Part of the secret is to allow others to have their opinions regardless of how wrong you think they are, and if need be walk away from an argument that is getting out of hand. Some would view this as cowardly, but no lasting point has been made by trying to get the last word in. Simply remember that the truth will always remain, and regardless of who is right or wrong time will prove that truth. It is possible for two people to express a degree of truth, yet not recognize it and be convinced of their own opinion. Make allowance for the fact that you will not always be correct, and in spiritual matters bear in mind that the spoken word is not always adequate to express what is in the mind's eye.

Being passive does not mean that you should shy away from opportunities to assert yourself. Those who know their truth have no fear of being challenged or ridiculed. You see, you hear and you feel through your senses, and the whole time you are registering your impressions. This is how you are continually modifying your ideas, even if it this takes place at a subconsciousness level. The person who has learnt well will have a composure and assurance that carries them through any confrontation. Often this very approach can defuse a situation that might get out of hand. You will find that people are subdued and calmed by someone who has that air of self assurance.

It is a human trait to try and bait people and draw them into an argument or fight. However, if you do not rise to the bait they become deflated by your lack of response. It requires courage and self confidence to walk away from someone who may be angry in front of you. By the same token, one with such self control can also defuse such situations. I am sure you can all relate to what I am saying, and for Man in your present society to reveal a tender and loving side is almost considered to be abnormal."

"I am St.Germain, and I ask you to think and act Love, and to be Love at all times and see All as One. If you can remember this you are well along the path to Ascension, and even if you do not yet feel ready you will have the foundation for greater growth. There is a coming together of you and your Higher Self, and the more you can achieve this the more you will bring forth your “I Am” consciousness. This is your strength and no one will be able to take it from you, and you will stand firm under the greatest provocation. Love is both your sword and shield, and no mortal man shall pierce it. Go forth knowing your strength and become the gentle giant of Light that you are, spreading the Light of Love before you."
