I dreamed that life was joy. I woke to find that life is service. I discovered that service is joy.
P'taah on Love
LOVE IS UNITY WITH ALL
Beloved, that which brings you to the excitement, that which brings you to the quickening, that which brings you to the core of yourself, is that which is the recognition of unconditional love. And you see, that is the true nature of the humanities - love - because this is the essence of the All That Is. The most expanded place of you, beingness of you, is simply love.
You might say, "Well, I want to know more about joy. I want to know more about fulfillment. I want to know more about healing the pain and grief within me," but the truth of all of that is simply, "I want to know more about love." Because in this space, the wounded heart that is healed; the joy that comes bubbling forth; the fulfillment of being truly in the communication, in the communion of the greater beingness of you; all of this is simply love.
Now, of course you get caught up with nitty-gritty day-today life, but even in that sameness, even in that grist for the mill, you still have a choice how you will be in your own beingness as you are dealing with your day-to-day life.
So we say to you, the way that you hold on to this is by living more and more in the Now, with attention and focus. Say at the beginning of each day, "My desire for this day is to be clear and present and to be all that I can be as I am dealing with my day-to-day routines." You see, as you sing your morning song and you are saying your thank yous, you might also say thank you for the opportunity to choose in this day to be clear and present, to be all that you can possibly be.
Wholeness, hmm? That it would be a sense of fulfillment, a sense of unity with everything in existence, because truly as you recognize the divinity within all creations, then you are looking, in a way, at a mirror of who you are as a kind of miracle. You know within this experience a recognition of yourself within everything else-and that truly is a kind of definition of love. In a way, with the humanities, sometimes you do have to have what's called a "challenge" in order to recognize who you are. But the feeling that this recognition ignites, whether you have come to it through something outside of yourself or indeed by touching something deep within, it is the feeling that is the important thing.
Link through your heart. And you know, beloved, the most direct way is to say thank you, because thank you bypasses logic and goes directly to the heart. Saying your thankyous for your experiences-for any experience really, whether it be workshop or even that which you regard to be a challenge, all of this - goes directly to the heart.
